Aoyama Slump Mountain The Girl Dons a Red Coat and Drives a Team of Rabbits Across the Christmas Eve Night Sky

The Anti-Sister Battle Corps, Also Known As the Chimame Corps (対お姉ちゃん用決戦部隊、通称チマメ隊?) is the tenth episode of Is the Order a Rabbit? anime series.

Synopsis[]

Chino starts to miss Cocoa after she spends more time with Chiya to help her study. In her absence she has enlisted Megumi and Maya's help at Rabbit House, and in this time she makes an important realization.

Summary[]

Cocoa has come to Ama Usa An to see Chiya.

Meanwhile, Chino grinds coffee beans at Rabbit House while Rize does latte art, unfamiliar with how quiet its become without Cocoa there. They recall her request to bring Tippy with her before leaving and Chino's adamant refusal. Chino brings up inviting Maya and Megumi to help in her place and the duo show up. Megumi will use Cocoa's uniform while Rize changes into one of the bartender outfits and allows Maya to use hers- but not her gun. After changing, Maya also reveals that she and Chino -and Tippy- put their hair up in pigtails to match Megumi and Rize.

Back at Ama Usa An, Cocoa helps with the customers. She and Chiya seem to work very well together and have a lot of fun, causing Chiya to ask if they can hire her permanently.

At Rabbit House the girls busily get to work but they struggle upon noticing Chino is only making milk cocoa, instead of the orders everyone has been requesting. She doesn't appear aware that she is doing it, leading Rize to determine that she probably misses Cocoa. Megumi suggests they drink the drinks she was making to avoid wasting them.

Meanwhile, Aoyama curiously observes Anko. She then gets flustered upon realizing Cocoa was reading her second book out-loud and tells her to quit.

Maya asks Rize to teach her about "Argentina", only to be corrected by Megumi, who points out she got the word mixed up with a cooking method known as "al dente". Chino points out how connected they are mentally, and Rize questions if this is true. Maya asks Megumi to guess what she is thinking, along with Rize and Chino. They get it wrong, but Megumi correctly reveals that Maya wants to visit the hot spring pool after work. Chino told them about it and she's been wanting to check it out.

As the girls take a break, Chiya voices how happy she is to have Cocoa there as someone her own age and they change out of uniform. Chiya gives Sharo a call but the nonsensical direction of the conversation leaves Sharo confused after she stops by, until Chiya explains that she thought if Sharo hit them it would make them focus on studying. She agrees with some convincing to stay but her patience gets tested fairly quick when the only English they can understand is "Coffee" and "Green Tea". It's then Cocoa asks to borrow Chiya's notes and compliments them, only to realize she got the Ama Usa An menu list instead; causing Sharo to get even angrier.

Megumi, Maya, Chino, Tippy and Rize arrive at the pool and Rize warns the girls not to get separated from one-another. They watch as Chino takes a moment to observe a rabbit, which Rize compares to her behaving like Cocoa, much to her surprise. They head inside to change and quickly start having fun while Rize relaxes on a chair and observes them. As this is going on Chino plays chess with Tippy once more, bringing up her concern over being a good host and having to rely on Cocoa in such a time like this. When Tippy responds she notes his voice sounds different, then expresses surprise when Aoyama suddenly appears. She speaks to her and floats away, but Chino can't understand the advice she gave her.

With water guns Megumi and Maya approach the others and they split into two teams after Rize explains that she brought them from home. Chino notes how intense she has become before they fill the guns with water and she takes shelter behind a pillar. For now she's going to let Rize do the hard work, until she sees that somehow, Aoyama has been given Maya's gun. She threatens to use Tippy as a captive unless she tells her where Rize is, but she suddenly shows up and sprays both Aoyama and Megumi. With that they try to find out where Maya is and resume the game while Chino observes how damp Tippy has become.

Sharo tries to get Cocoa to stop counting numbers so that she can resume studying. Which doesn't work until she spots an album nearby and decides to observe it. She notes how unhappy Chiya looks in the picture and Sharo reveals that this was back when they started attending high school. Chiya was worried over them still staying friends; something that embarrasses Chiya to think about now.

That evening, the girls get together with some chocolate drinks and prepare to head for home while Chino tries thinking of a text to send to Cocoa. When the girls note this and she starts to feel confused again, so Rize decides to change the subject by challenging them to a race. For winning she wants to address them as "Chimame Corps" starting the next day. She gets a head-start to the girls horror and they hurriedly chase after her.

Sharo enjoys a bath while Cocoa bathes herself nearby. She brings up Chiya again and Sharo remarks on how similar they are. She tells Cocoa to remain a good friend for Chiya, only to get flustered after she realizes Cocoa wasn't listening. After they finish, Sharo quickly drifts off to sleep during their study and Chiya covers her with a blanket before quieting Cocoa down to make sure they don't wake her. Cocoa feels envious over not having a childhood friendship like them and Chiya suggests they start to make new memories together. Cocoa decides that cutting her bangs like theirs would be a good start.

Maya, Megumi and Chino have bathed and decide to play a game before bed. Chino only has chess, but to her surprise her dad shows up and with some clever insight, he bought some new games for her. The girls make a selection and start playing, but seeing how distracted Chino is, they take a break to let her sort out her feelings. She sends Chiya a text to ask how Cocoa is doing, and Cocoa is very delighted realizing Chino might be missing her. But she feels sad after they send a picture of the soaked Tippy from the pool, realizing she missed out on the fun trip. The commotion wakes up Sharo.

She calls Chino to ask if she had fun, then she weeps over not getting to play with them too. Chino admits that before she met Cocoa she wouldn't have had the nerve to invite her friends over, and this seems to cheer Cocoa back up. She promises to come back home the next day and hangs up, with Chiya getting the idea to send a group photo to Rize and Chino.

The trio lay down for bed and Chiya asks Sharo if they should indulge in some scary stories. Sharo refuses as they take notice of Cocoa holding onto Anko to sleep with; causing Sharo to offer herself in his place in order to get him away from her. She quickly regrets it when Cocoa takes her up on the offer. In this time, Sharo has a dream that she is abandoned by Chiya and Cocoa, but when she awakens she feels a heavy guilt until realizing they are also having dreams, and they are offering her food. She feels relieved and tries to go to back to sleep to see if her dream will also have a happy ending.

The next morning, Rize has decided to cut her bangs like the others and heads out. She stops by to visit Rabbit House as a customer and steps inside to find out that the shop has a new theme of the day: Little Sisters. When Rize doesn't respond the way they hoped, Chino wonders if this only suits someone like Cocoa.
